Course description
1. Old Testament I - Summary and survey of each book
of the O. T. from Genesis to Esther.
2. Old Testament II - A survey of the books of the O. T. from Job to
Malachi.
3. New Testament I - Brief introduction to the N. T. and background
study of the Gospel, Acts and Corinthian correspondence.
4. New Testament II - This course is sequel to N. T. I commencing from
Paul's magnum opus, Romans, and other epistles and the Revelation.
5. Theology I - Deals with the study of the triune God, man, angels,
Satan and demons.
6. Theology II - This is the study of salvation, church and the last
things.
7. Church Educational Ministries - Deals with the education and educational
agencies of the church.
8. Evangelism/Church Growth Principles - This focuses on the ways of
doing personal evangelism and a sociological approach to the method
of planting and growing a church.
9. Spiritual Life - A course designed to enhance the spiritual life
of the student with special references to some devotional issues.
10. Pastoral Theology I -
Introduction - This course deals with life, work, ministry and operation
of a local church pastor.
Principle of Leadership - A course which explains the dynamism of leading
others in the Church.
Church Constitution - Focus on the by-laws regulation Salem Gospel Mission
International.
11. Pastoral Theology II -
Church Administration and Management - Deals with the ways of administering
and managing a church.
Church Liturgy - Focuses on conducting church services, sacraments etc.
Counseling - This course is based upon pastoral approach to counseling.
It emphasis procedures and techniques.
12. Hermeneutics - This is a course that deals with the principles of
Bible interpretation, explanation, exposition and application.
13. Homiletics - A theoretical analysis of sermon preparation and delivery
and a practical demonstration of the principles.
